Happiness as Anarchy #162: Decorative tiles

Beautiful tiles are waiting for the eye to rest upon them in all kinds of places throughout Buenos Aires (and I would assume, in the rest of Argentina). On subway station walls, church floors and university halls, toilet walls, kitchen floors and entrance halls. The patterns are many and varied, as are the colours. my favourites are the blues, especially when juxtaposed against yellow.

I found these stunning walls in the Basílica Nuestra Señora del Pilar next to the Recoleta Cementario.
