Happiness as Anarchy #214: Toes in the sand

How beautiful is the feeling of sinking bare toes into the velvety dry sand at the first beach visit of Summer? I watched the sun go down over the bay today, the evening light playing games with the seaweed and spume, the shadows long. A big bank of smoky cloud on the western horizon eventually swallowed up the big orange ball of the sun as I brushed the sand from my toes.
