Ballarat’s public spaces are very well kept by the city gardeners. In Sturt Street this evening I spotted a new flower installation with letters. I pondered, is this shortened form of Ballarat? Then pondered some more and realised it is floral representation of the football. They even have the white posts behind the bed. I’m no fan of the game, but this floral work made me smile.
