About

Amie is a musician, performer, creative, educator and researcher. Most well-known for her performances that explore food, wine, and pleasure through original music and stories, she performs under the stage name Amie Brûlée who, oozing chic style, performs French songs, vintage jazz, Celtic and Breton folk and originals with delight and panache. Characterised by a European aesthetic, her work is distinctly inventive while retaining an Australian soul that audiences recognise and respond to.

When not performing, Amie uses her energy and organisational

skills creating inclusive events and projects centred on music and social connection. She also delivers engaging workshops and classes at schools, universities, galleries, bars, and other interesting locations, helping people to pursue their passions in music, storytelling, drinks and culinary arts, French, and public speaking.

Amie lives in central Victoria, Australia with a house full of instruments, a head full of songs and a cellar full of wine. She is constantly plotting new creative adventures and believes that the arts are a fundamental part of human nature
