I was walking out to dinner last night, dressed in a nice little black dress. A man on a bicycle shouted at me as he rode past: 'Great earrings'. Such a delightful compliment that allowed us a tiny moment of connection as my earrings danced in the rays of the setting sun.

I really enjoy teaching my handful of students. They're all dedicated and fun to work with and range in age from 16 to 89. The youngest of them gave a lovely card and Christmas present and I'm pretty chuffed to read her words of appreciation. It's pretty special to be able to share my love

I went for a stroll this evening and was entertained following Mr Sozzled as he endeavoured to walk in a straight line, No judgement from me (I've done it more than once), just a quiet little chuckle with the magpie sitting on the fence watching the humans passing by.
