Amie has been researching and teaching wine for more than a decade for private clients, public functions and at The University of Melbourne. (Amie has a PhD in wine and culture – that makes her a Doctor of Wine – and if you’d like to read her thesis on image, identity and stories in the French and Australian wine industries, you can find it here).

Fun, educational and unpretentious wine tasting workshops. From the basics of wine for beginners to advanced sessions for connoisseurs, workshops include Australian and international wines and related history, culture and winemaking methods, and of course, lots of tasting.

From ukulele workshops designed to get you started on your new instrument to stagecraft, songwriting and piano lessons, Amie loves to share her love, knowledge and experience of music with others. She has bespoke programs for workshops in a range of formats, whether you’re after a one-off or a series for a festival, community group, festival or school.

Amie is a qualified and experienced teacher who has taught music and French in primary and secondary schools, universities, community settings and corporate.

Have you always wanted to learn French but don’t know where to start? Or perhaps you learned it at school and would like to refresh your memory? Or are you looking for an interesting and engaging workshop for your French students at school? Amie speaks fluent French (she did a French degree and has spent a number of years living in France) and loves the language and culture. Her workshops are practical, fun and hands-on using food, music, props and media to make learning French a fun and rewarding experience.

If you would like to book a workshop for your workplace, community group, school or friends, drop me a line and we can work out the details to suit your needs:
