The evenings are quite beautiful this week as the sky dips slowly to midnight blue. Seems the birds quite like to watch the sun go down too.
Hanging over the Ballarat skyline this evening was a sliver of moon and its fellow traveller, the lone star. The seemingly fragile white lights sat cushioned in the velvety dark blue of a sky heading towards darkness. To have witnessed the fleeting beauty above leaves me with a quiet smile.
There are so many intriguing and beautiful things floating above us in the skyline. It only takes looking up to find them. Fat clouds skipping across the sky, pigeon pairs talking to each other, intricate architectural details, and curious combinations. Although I constantly risk falling in a hole in the footpath, I can't stop myself
