It was so nice to have hours and hours of sunshine today. Spring is finally warming up and the garden is beckoning me out to pull acres of weeds. I was rewarded with a refreshing Argentinian beer after my labours, in the warmth of the late afternoon sun.
There is something rather lovely about the warmth of the Autumn sun on a Sunday afternoon. Even lovelier is sitting on the couch in that sunny warmth to study. The books seem so much friendlier. Many would add that it's even lovelier again when the subject of one's reading is wine.
I don't know about you, but I'm pretty glad my teenage years are long gone. You're somewhere between child and adult - too big for the playground but not old enough for the bar. So it was fun to bump into my teenage daughter and her friends hanging out at the back of the art
