I do love a gig that includes vintage costuming and props. It’s so much fun sniffing around op-shops and vintage shops, markets, garage sales, and my own cupboards for an eclectic collection of things. These umbrellas and bits and bobs have been multiplying for some events about Mrs Muller, Ballarat’s Umbrella Lady, about whom my friend Geoff has written a fascinating book.
