As the sun descended below the tree-line at the end of a beautiful autumn day, a cup of mulled cider warmed both hand and heart this afternoon. Bright apple flavours underpinned with the warmth of spices and a hint of citrus peel delighted my nose and palate. My trio played for Sovereign Hill’s Heritage Harvest Market which was filled with excellent producers, smiling faces and big blue skies. Thanks to Daylesford Cider for the warmth and flavour to top off a beautiful weekend.
