Tiny Pleasures #43: Working in Underpants

Undies, pants, briefs, drawers, jox, underdacks, knickers… Whatever you call them, I find they are the most appropriate clothing for working at home on 35 degree days. There are all kinds of daily activities that are more fun when only wearing undies, but my favourite is typing work emails. Here I am sitting at my desk, cool as a cucumber and keeping half an eye on the window near the front door (you never know when an unexpected visitor might arrive), typing terribly serious, professional emails. But unlike the woman the receiver imagines, who is sitting at her desk in a black suit with sharp lines and ironed shirt, I’m sitting here in my undies.
