I joined an online songwriting club a few months ago. We have to write and record a song every week. Doesn’t matter if it’s good or not, you just have to write. Ten weeks later and I’ve written ten songs. Most of them are pretty good. Some of them need a bit more work. I’m thrilled to have found my writing muscle and watched it grow with regular practice. Showing up to do the work is where it’s at.
