Well, my friends, I made it. 365 days of Tiny Pleasures. A quiet sense of satisfaction for sticking to my word and showing up every day is sitting with me as I sit at my desk to write the last one.

It’s been a year of ups and downs and roundabouts, but the pleasures have been many: food, wine, drinks, friends, nature, gardening, music, reading, travel, new projects and old, blue skies, silliness, writing songs, walking and laughing. The daily blog has kept me sane through the dark days and made the light days shine brighter. And it’s been so nice to have you along for the ride – thank you for reading, commenting and enjoying my little musings on daily life. A particular treat has been bumping into you occasionally in real life and hearing that the blog brings joy.

I’m not sure what 2025 holds, in general and here in the tiny writing space, but something will happen. Feel free to throw suggestions at me. And if you’ve enjoyed the Tiny Pleasures and have a moment to tell me what pressed your buttons and made you smile, I would very much appreciate it. I’m considering applying for a residency to make Tiny Pleasures into a kind of show-meets-experience thing, and any comments from you would be helpful for the application and for the project development.
